The ink on the paper

Well these dreams sure are gettin' stranger. Three strange people in black coats, library, girl with coffee. Lotuses. I gotta say, it sure is strange. Sure do wonder how much longer these dreams'll keep goin on. It's like a case of Sphere-induced narcolepsy. One moment you're awake and next? BAM! You're out on the floor without any idea of how ya got there. Sure have treated enough head wounds from this.

Kid came in yesterday with a fork stuck in his shoulder. Said he just fell asleep suddenly and when he woke up it was there. It's almost like we gotta walk around with pillows stuck to us, yanno? Or maybe padding or layers or somethin'.

Man I could really go for some good coffee right now, yeah

Man, the past two days've been crazy, what with that garbled mess of voices 'n the med case. What'd make today great is a nice book. Or something to do. I hear things've gotten pretty interestin' lately. No more water but some sort of faire? I'll hafta check that out sometime.

I found a few books in the Scavenger Yard. Terrible conditions, but still has good pictures. Doubt there's much I can do with 'em, but they're sure interestin'. I'm thinkin' of takin' up Lucy's idea 'n start some sort of library. We don't have one, but it'd be good to have some sort of resource, yeah? Not that I'm gonna quit my job as a medic. Somethin' to do on the side. Maybe even write our own books, fiction and non-fiction. Sure would be interestin'.
