I have obtained the most interestin' piece of technology. Such a marvel is this Etch-a-sketch. It etches and sketches about with just a twist of a knob! Such a sleek design, so small and red with contrastin' white knobs. It makes such a strange shiftin' sound whenever I shake the small piece of wonderous technology. I can draw, shake the creation, then draw once again without the need for paper or pen. It's most portable and efficient at killing boredom. Pity the creation is much too large to fit within my medical pouch I keep on my belt. However if i were to carry it within the issued medical bag, then it most definitely would fit. However that medical bag shan't leave my room lest I dare lose it.

This is most unusual. I find myself writin' more descriptive words than I ever thought possible. Perhaps this sorta verbose language would be incredibly useful for writin' down some history and descriptions for the Wilderness, when I'm not involved in bein' incarcerated against my will under such a frivolous accusation without a chance to explain myself.

Also, lest I forget. Bridge, we must go for coffee at some future date.

[ tl:dr? I have an etch-a-sketch and it's super awesome! I rite guud. and bridge. coffee. 'kay? ]

Hah! Etch-a-sketch! What a kid's toy that is! But I cannot deny that such a thing has a certain mystique about it that begs one to spend hours indulging in it!

'tis the most fascinatin', entertainin' toy I have held within my hands while here. It etches and sketches, then all I do is shake the amazin' rectangular red and white toy and the slate is completely clean!
It does seem just like magic, from what my mind tells me of such an object! Might I inquire where you found such an object? It would be my heart's lingering desire to find one such toy.
I made a rather hasty yet seemingly wise decision to trade with Storm for this absolutely wonderful red and white rectangular box of drawin' wonder. I traded a metallic springy toy known as a slinky.
You managed to locate such a device as a slinky? Woe! Such trinkets I have long desired to occupy my spare time when my fine feathered friend and furry four-pawed companion are lost to the depths of Morpheus's influence.
I have. Juliet and I uncovered the springy toy in the Scavenger yard recently. Such an interestin' toy springin' about as if it were made of coiled metallic gelatin. While the rather unusual yet tantalizin' creation was rather enjoyable while in my possession, this etch-a-sketch proves also to be quite the tantalizin' distraction.

lololol purple prose.

I am happy to know you have found such an object to occupy your time as an etch-a-sketch. It seems I can find such an object within the depths of Hades; Down into the depths of the Scrapyard I shall go to obtain such a thing! Excitement burns as a fire within me.

Best of luck to ya. The Scavenger yard consists of a multitude of piles of disorderly junk, rangin' from the most useful of objects to the most useless. It's really a grab bag when you visit.

Date: 2009-09-08 10:32 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] esp-optimism.livejournal.com
I assure you that I will be able to find a device of amusement! It seems forever ago that I last visited such a place.

Date: 2009-09-08 11:34 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] redhead-rabbit.livejournal.com
I would be more thrilled than a child in a candy store if you detail to me what sorta tantalizin' creation ya find within the piles of wreckage within the Scavenger yard, yeah?

I daresay I assume that to mean I am supposed to contact you when I find something within the Scrapyard? There are times my head spins trying to read these long replies!

Date: 2009-09-09 12:03 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] redhead-rabbit.livejournal.com
You assume correct, yeah. I can't be sure as to why such a simplistic reply must require a wall of text in return. Surely the fishbowl is responsible for such a strange and rather irritatin', hand-crampin' effect, right?

My heart, so steady and true, tells me that it is the Sphere behind such a malignant curse! Alas. Colon closed-parentheses.

I hope with all of my heart that the Sphere may end our plight early and our tired weary writin' hands don't bleed 'lest I find half the Sphere as my patients, complainin' of crampin' hands and large blisters from pens.

Date: 2009-09-09 12:57 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] esp-optimism.livejournal.com
Such a fright that gave me! A blister and cramps?

This is very saddening. Do you truly think such a thing could happen?

Such a horrific, plague-like effect could only occur if this effect continues on and on for at least a month. A week shouldn't cause these effects.

The cheerfulness of my soul at such news abounds as a rabbit in springtime! It would be most unfortunate to have any injury due to this.

It would be most unfortunate. Let's both hope with all our hearts that the sphere in which we live will not bestow such a malady on any of its inhabitants.

Indeed! My heart will be occupied as such!

Such words are most joyous to hear!

I am delighted that you enjoy the use of the etch-a-sketch. You shall indeed put the toy to much better use than I ever shall.

I'm forever grateful, Storm. Who knew such entertainment could come outta a small, rectangular red box with white knobs? Are you enjoyin' the small springy metallic toy?

Date: 2009-09-08 04:27 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] doctorears.livejournal.com
Indeed, I am enjoying the small toy most have dubbed a 'slinky'. I have dropped it from various ledges to watch it fall to the ground and have enjoyed letting it fall over. The metallic spring is a very fun toy and I am grateful that I have it.

Date: 2009-09-08 04:40 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] redhead-rabbit.livejournal.com
I had never considered the potential enjoyment of dropping the flimsy spring from heights and seein' the result of the fall. It must be rather enjoyable to see the metallic coil wiggle about like gelatin as you drop it, yeah?

Date: 2009-09-09 12:19 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] doctorears.livejournal.com
It is enjoyable to see the metallic coil wiggle. Dropping it from great heights is a perfect way to see the full effect of the spring's ability to shake.

Date: 2009-09-09 12:31 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] redhead-rabbit.livejournal.com
It sounds as though you are having the most enjoyable time with the metallic toy which wiggles about like silver gelatin!

Date: 2009-09-09 02:28 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] doctorears.livejournal.com
I truly am enjoying my time with the spring!

Date: 2009-09-09 03:03 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] redhead-rabbit.livejournal.com
That's wonderful to hear! I'm havin' the most eventful time with this tantalizin' rectangular box of etchin' fun

Date: 2009-09-10 01:48 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] doctorears.livejournal.com
It seems that we both have gained something of value from this trade.

Absolutely, moreso than any of these flowery words can describe!
